Uni:Gem Sewage Plant

The sewage treatment plant uses the natural process of biological aerobic action to break down the effluent with bacteria. A small pump, pumps air into the chamber to feed the bacteria which held to clean the effluent to a level far higher than that of a normal septic tank. This higher level of cleanliness enables the outlet to vent into a watercourse.

The air pump is quiet in operation as it is situated inside the treatment plant and typically is equivalent to the cost of powering a 60 watt light bulb.
